ISS Market Intelligence has said its latest acquisition shows its commitment to deepening its presence in the UK.
The company has bought London-based Autus Data Services for an undisclosed amount.
Era of ‘home bias’ has declined with advisers taking global view
It provides data on financial intermediaries in the UK for sales, marketings and compliance teams in asset management, banking, insurance and fintech.
Geoff Greensmith, managing director at Autus, said: “This is a great outcome for Autus.
“ISS MI brings the scale and strategic vision needed to take our products to the next level.”
The company offers access to information about more than 70,000 firms and 220,000 people listed on the FCA register and directory, along with additional proprietary intelligence.
Ben Doob, head of ISS Market Intelligence, said: “This acquisition reflects our continued commitment to deepening our presence in the UK and providing an unmatched set of solutions to our clients.
“Autus brings both high-quality data and deep domain expertise that will further enhance our MarketPro platform, enabling us to serve a broader range of clients and use cases. We are better positioned today than ever to partner with UK market participants to empower their growth.”
Autus’ solutions are set to be added to ISS MarketPro suite which provides distribution intelligence for financial services markets
In 2024, ISS bought the Pridham Report which looks at sales and asset trends using data supplied by the largest fund groups operating in the UK.
