Two charged after death at Birmingham industrial premises

Two men from Birmingham have been charged after the death of a worker at an industrial premises in the city.

Ako Azizpour, 27, who died at a building in Tyburn Road, Erdington, was unloading pallets of glass from a container on 8 February last year when he became trapped, West Midlands Police said.

Nashwan Amin, 28, has been charged with gross negligence manslaughter and perverting the course of justice. Razwan Amin, 26, has been charged with perverting the course of justice.

Both have appeared at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court and were bailed with strict conditions to appear at the city’s Crown court next month.
