Tina Fey is set to bring a sprinkling of Hollywood star power to the Edinburgh TV Festival next month.

The award-winning multi-hyphenate has been confirmed as joining the small screen events in Scotland and will take part in a conversation with beloved Irish TV host Graham Norton.

Elsewhere, “Black Mirror” creator Charlie Brooker is set to take part in what’s being billed as a “playful and provocative” in conversation event, set to cover “everything from comedy, AI, evil product design and the TV shows that made him.”

Stephen Lambert, CEO of prolific entertainment show producer Studio Lambert — behind the likes of “The Traitors” “Gogglebox” and “Squid Game: The Challenge” — will also attend a record a special edition of podcast The Town.

Other additions to this year’s Edinburgh TV Festival include state of the industry conversations on issues such as YouTube’s impact on TV and the scripted and unscripted funding crisis, alongside an “Adolescence” masterclass and a “Rival” live script read.

Meanwhile, the alternative Mactaggart lecture will be given by satirist, comedian, writer and actor Munya Chawawa, who will make the case for why broadcasters underestimate digital creatives at their peril and will issue a call to arms for creative risk.

As previously announced, former BBC News chief James Harding will deliver the keynote MacTaggart lecture. Harding, the founder of Tortoise Media and is now editor-in-chief of The Observer newspaper, is set to “examine challenges to truth and trust in the media.”

Also Shonda Rhimes and Lenny Henry are also part of the lineup, with Rhimes set to receive the inaugural Edinburgh TV Festival fellowship.

The Edinburgh TV Festival runs Aug. 19 to 22.
