ANY SUMMER ADDITIONS?

Former Manchester City forward Lukas Nmecha has joined on a free transfer, four years after departing England for Wolfsburg.

The 26-year-old was the leading scorer when Germany won the Under-21 European Championship in 2021 and he has since made seven appearances for his nation’s senior side.

Leeds have also signed centre-back Jaka Bijol, from Udinese, plus defenders Sebastiaan Bornouw and Gabriel Gudmundsson.

It’s early days, of course, but Farke looks set to benefit from keeping much of his promotion-winning side together.
Josuha Guilavogui has left after making 18 appearances last season, while Joe Rothwell and Solomon have returned to Bournemouth and Tottenham Hotspur respectively, following the completion of their loan spells.

Rasmus Kristensen hadn’t played for Leeds since their relegation in 2023, but he has now joined Eintracht Frankfurt on a permanent basis, while Junior Firpo has been released.
