Sheffield Wednesday have seen multiple players leave the club in the last few weeks, some of whom have sent messages.
Sheffield Wednesday winger Anthony Musaba joined Samsunspor for a fee of around £800,000.
Djeidi Gassama then completed his move to Rangers, seeing the Owls net around £2.2m to ease their financial problems.
Sheffield Wednesday are saving a further £1.95m as well after two more players opted to depart Hillsborough this week.
Josh Windass and Michael Smith have left, terminating their contracts despite having a year left to run.

Both players have transfer interest already, with Middlesbrough holding talks for Smith after he was granted his release.
Barry Bannan has sent a message to Windass after his exit, while the attacking midfielder released a statement of his own.
After their exits were confirmed, both players sent messages of appreciation to the Owls.
However, journalist Alan Briggs has since highlighted a ‘significant’ omission from their statements.
He wrote: “Significant, I reckon, that there was one notable omission from the messages of appreciation both players have issued.”

Though not named by Briggs, one man who was left out of the messages was owner Dejphon Chansiri.
Does Dejphon Chansiri still want to sell Sheffield Wednesday
The club remains in crisis, and there are fears that more Sheffield Wednesday players could leave after Windass and Smith.
It was reported recently that Francesco Guardascione was leading a consortium to buy Sheffield Wednesday.
However, it has since emerged that the Sheffield Wednesday takeover bid had collapsed.
Despite this latest blow, it’s thought that Chansiri remains committed to selling the Yorkshire club.
