Danny Rohl is expected to leave Sheffield Wednesday this summer, but the club are yet to officially announce a decision.
The German has enjoyed two solid seasons with the Owls, having saved them from relegation in 2023/24 before a mid-table finish last term.
However, things took a turn for the worse towards the end of 2024/25 with Danny Rohl linked with several jobs.
Rohl did not turn up to the start of pre-season as he eyed an exit, and Sheffield Wednesday players were unhappy with the manager.
Now, his future at Hillsborough Stadium has been discussed by one Sky Sports pundit.

As well as Rohl’s future, Sheffield Wednesday have had multiple embargoes placed on them due to financial problems.
These issues have seen a number of top stars sold or have their contracts terminated – Josh Windass and Michael Smith being the latest.
Now, Sky Sports pundit Lee Hendrie has been discussing Rohl’s situation with the Owls.
And he suggested a decision on his future has not been made yet, due to all the other problems behind the scenes.
He told Football League World: “I just think it needs to be resolved very quickly, I think it needs to be made a decision and I think the reason why it hasn’t been made is because of what’s going on behind the scenes in who’s going to be coming in and taking on the football club.
“But yeah, this needs to be resolved for Sheffield Wednesday because it’s all looking very much of a shambles at the moment, the quicker it’s resolved the better because as I said the season is just around the corner.”
What we know about Danny Rohl leaving Sheffield Wednesday
EFL Analysis broke the news earlier this week that Rohl will be leaving Sheffield Wednesday.
We understand that talks over whether the German leaves outright or is placed on gardening leave are still ongoing.
But we do expect that the former Bayern Munich coach will indeed depart this summer.
Assistant coach Henrik Pedersen is expected to take charge of the first team.
