We reviewed a previous run of Six when it came to The Lowry in August last year. Reviewer Page Oldfield wrote: “Remixing 500 years of historical heartbreak into a celebration of girl power, the show has become a global success – and I can totally understand the hype.”
We also reviewed another previous run of Six back in 2021, when reviewer Liv Clarke wrote: “Taking the form of a pop concert, this isn’t a traditional musical and don’t expect scene changes or an ensemble number, instead smart lyrics will leave you howling with laughter (there is a fair amount of adult humour which is cleverly disguised) and catchy songs create the illusion that you’re really at a gig.”
