Hit West End musical The Book of Mormon has revealed its Christmas and New Year performance schedule for 2025, giving festive theatregoers extra opportunities to catch the show at London’s Prince of Wales Theatre.
The irreverent, award-winning musical will follow its regular performance schedule — Monday to Saturday at 7:30pm, with matinees on Friday and Saturday at 2:30pm —up until Saturday 20 December 2025. A revised holiday schedule will then run from Monday 22 December, with no performances on 24 and 25 December, and the standard timetable resuming on Thursday 1 January 2026.
Audiences can enjoy additional matinees and evening shows throughout the final week of the year, including a special New Year’s Eve matinee on 31 December.

Prepare for laughs as two mismatched Mormon missionaries are sent to Uganda to spread their faith—only to discover the realities of life aren’t quite what they expected. As their friendship and beliefs are hilariously tested, The Book of Mormon delivers a sharp, satirical and laugh-out-loud take on religion, culture, and the power of storytelling.
Now in its 13th year in the West End, The Book of Mormon continues to be one of London’s most popular musicals. In June 2025, the show reached a new milestone, overtaking Miss Saigon to become the 15th longest-running musical in West End history, following its 4,413th London performance.
Written by South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, with music by Robert Lopez (Frozen, Avenue Q), the show is directed by Parker and Casey Nicholaw (Disney’s Hercules), who also choreographs. The Book of Mormon is known for its sharp satire, high-energy performances, and unforgettable musical numbers.
The current London cast features Blair Gibson as Elder Price, Conner Peirson as Elder Cunningham, and Paige Peddie as Nabulungi, alongside Colin Burnicle, Ian Carlyle, Matthew Elliot-Campbell, and Ron Remke.
The production recently extended its booking period to 3 January 2026, and performances during the festive period are expected to be in high demand.
