Lille are reportedly “struggling” in their bid to land Hamza Igamane from Rangers this summer – with Everton among the new suitors showing interest.

The Scottish Premiership side are standing firm on their £15million valuation of the striker amid ongoing talks with Ligue 1 side.

The 22-year-old impressed in his debut Ibrox campaign – netting 16 goals for the Light Blues after a £1.7m move from AS FAR last summer.

That has sparked discussions with the Lille side over a potential move with the Moroccan international already agreeing personal terms over a move.

But Rangers new owners 49ers Enterprises are determined to land a bumper profit in the 22-year-old with the Glasgow giants holding out for a £15m payday.

And Lille president Olivier Letang previously admitted the club were in no hurry to get a deal done – but they could be beaten to a deal.

Transfer guru Sacha Tavolieri claims the French club are “struggling in their negotiations” with the Light Blues.

Feyenoord are the latest club to enter the race for Igamane’s signature with the club looking to add more firepower following Zepiqueno Redmond’s departure for Aston Villa.

Everton – who have been long-term admirers of the frontman – are also said to have made an enquiry alongside Italian side Udinese.

Reports in January suggested that Toffees’ boss David Moyes likes the player and had been keen to make a swoop in the winter window.

Igamane made his first appearance of pre-season under Russell Martin during the closed-door clash with Hamilton Accies – coming on for the second half replacing Danilo ahead of the crucial Champions League qualifying first leg against Panathinaikos next Tuesday.
