Edinburgh and Lothian locals have been warned ahead of a flood alert for the region in the coming days.
The Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) has put a warning in place for the weekend amid a yellow weather warning for heavy rain.
Met Office forecasters extended the weather alert to Monday, July 21, and warned of thunderstorms.

Potential impacts could include flooding affecting parts of communities and disruption to travel networks.
The flood alert is in place until further notice and locals have been urged to be vigilant.
A statement from SEPA reads: “A FLOOD ALERT UPDATE has been issued for Edinburgh and Lothians.
“Widespread heavy rain is forecast to affect this area on Saturday and Sunday, potentially leading to some significant impacts from surface water and small watercourses.
