Scottie Scheffler will take a four-shot lead into the final round of the 153rd Open following the third round at Royal Portrush on Saturday.
The world no.1 extended his lead to four shots as he moved on to -14 following a bogey-free round.
Local hopes are all pinned on Rory McIlroy who made a sensational start on Saturday with three birdies in the opening four holes.
McIlroy eventually finished with a 66 to move to -8 much to the delight of the crowds who cheers him on around the course.
The Holywood man will be out in the second to last pairing on Sunday alongside Matt Fitzpatrick, who finished on -9.
Haotong Li had another impressive round moving to -10 and will pair Scheffler on Sunday.
