Manchester United drew 0-0 with Leeds United on Saturday afternoon as Matheus Cunha made his first appearance since joining from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Manchester United’s pre-season campaign is underway after a draw against newly-promoted Leeds United.
The two sides met in Sweden, but neither could break the deadlock in a Stockholm stalemate.
United carved out some decent chances, with Chido Obi firing wide in the first half and a goalmouth scramble almost securing the lead after the break.
Goals remain United’s biggest concern as Bryan Mbeumo nears a move to Old Trafford, but we did see a first glimpse of Matheus Cunha on Saturday.

Cunha joined United from Wolverhampton Wanderers earlier this summer, and fans have been desperate to see him in action.
The Brazilian featured as a number 10 for United against Leeds, supporting Chido Obi in the final third.
Cunha showed his frustration as the teenager took a chance away from him inside the box.
This was only a 45-minute outing for Cunha, but he showed enough sharpness in the final third to suggest that he can become a key player for Amorim.
Cunha has now taken to his Instagram Story to post his reaction from Saturday’s display, sharing a seven-word message with United supporters.
‘What a feeling to wear this shirt,’ said Cunha, accompanied by a photo of himself in the new United away shirt.
That may have been Cunha’s first appearance in a United shirt, but it certainly won’t be his last with a big season on the horizon.
Matheus Cunha’s next appearances for Manchester United
United’s pre-season schedule continues next weekend, but Amorim’s squad move on from Sweden to the United States.
Cunha will be in action as United take on West Ham United at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey in the early hours of Sunday morning.
United then move on to Soldier Field in Chicago, taking on Bournemouth on July 30 before a meeting with Everton on August 3 in Atlanta.
Cunha’s first four United appearances will come against Premier League rivals before the pre-season schedule ends at home to Fiorentina on August 9.
Cunha would love a first goal in United colours before the Premier League season starts, and it’s clear that this move means a lot to him, having relished the chance to play in Saturday’s friendly.
