Liverpool continue their pre-season preparations with a friendly against Italian side AC Milan on Saturday.
Arne Slot’s side beat Preston North End 3-1 in their first friendly of the summer at Deepdale earlier this month, and they now embark on a tour of Asia where they will face Milan and Yokohama F. Marinos.
The Reds have already added Jeremie Frimpong, Milos Kerkez and Florian Wirtz to Slot’s squad, while Trent Alexander-Arnold has departed Anfield.
Now, it has emerged that another member of Slot’s squad could soon leave the club.
According to CaughtOffside, winger Luis Diaz has expressed his desire to leave Liverpool amid interest from German champions Bayern Munich.
It is claimed that Bayern’s initial bid of around £45 million was rejected by Liverpool, who then also rebuffed an offer in the region of £58.5 million.

The German giants are said to be reluctant to pay more than £60 million initially for the player, while the Reds are holding out for a fee of around £70-75 million.
Diaz, 28, joined Liverpool from Portuguese side Porto in 2022 and has since played 148 times for the club across all competitions, scoring 41 goals and registering 23 assists.
Last season he started 28 of Liverpool’s 38 Premier League games as they stormed to the title in Slot’s first season in charge.
The winger is said to have rejected several new contract offers from his current employers, reiterating the fact that he wishes to embark on a new challenge.
Diaz is under contract at Anfield until the end of the 2026/27 season, but it appears increasingly likely that he could depart the club this summer.
Saudi Arabian sides Al Nassr and Al Hilal are also said to be interested in the Colombian and would be willing to meet Liverpool’s financial demands, however the player himself is keen to stay in Europe.
