Leeds United have had a busy week when it comes to transfers.

With less than a month until the Premier League campaign gets underway, Leeds have had to step up their search for summer recruits, while making calls on those who could leave.

Patrick Bamford has already been told he has no future at Elland Road, while several others could be heading out in the next few weeks.

Leeds have already bolstered their defence significantly this summer, and are reportedly looking to do it again with the signing of Diego Carlos.

However, Fenerbahce are said to be only willing to consider a loan-to-buy deal to sanction the exit of the Brazilian.

Sunderland and Burnley have also been linked with a move, with the Whites planning to bring him to Elland Road in the next few weeks.

With Bamford set to leave, questions have emerged over the future of Mateo Joseph, who was no more than a bit part player for Leeds last season.

The Spaniard is said to be keen on a move to La Liga, with Betis and Celta Vigo among the clubs to have shown an interest.

Joseph hardly started in the Championship.

Leeds value the forward at £10million, which is a fee deemed too high for Betis, though the Whites have expressed their desire to keep him at Elland Road.

There remains every chance that Joseph leaves this summer, though it seems as though it will have to be at the right price.

Sean Longstaff’s arrival is a big one for Leeds, yet they remain intent on adding more options to their midfield.

Tomasso Pobega had been identified as a target, with Leeds said to have expressed an interest in the Italian midfielder.

However, the 26-year-old looks set to join Bologna after a loan spell there, with a medical booked in on Monday ahead of the move.
