Bristol’s Siren Festival returns to the Amphitheatre this weekend, for three dates of live music from some big names in the industry with careers spanning decades. One of Bristol’s newest music events, thousands of fans are set to flock to the Harbourside location to enjoy it.
To help all ticket holders enjoy themselves to the max, we’ve compiled a handy guide of everything you need to know.
We’ve included who’s on the line-up, whether you’ll be able to buy food on site, if tickets are still available and even a list of what you can and can’t bring with you. There’s also information on the best ways to travel to the venue, and other key bits of information you’ll need to know before you arrive:
When and where is Siren taking place?
Siren Festival takes place at the Amphitheatre at Explore Lane, on the Harbourside (BS1 5LL), between July 25-27.
Opening times for each event are as follows:
- 5-10.30pm on Friday (July 25)
- 1-10.30pm on Saturday (July 26)
- 3-10pm on Sunday (July 27)
On all nights, the site will remain open for 30 minutes after the music finishes to allow for drinking up and safe dispersal of crowds.
The line-up and performance times
The Friday night (July 25) event will see Bloc Party celebrating 20 years and performing Silent Alarm and their greatest hits, with support from Liz Lawrence and a DJ set from Huw Stephens. Tickets for this event have sold out.
The Saturday event (July 26) dubbed ‘Run All Day’ will see an all-day music line-up beginning in the afternoon. Artists on the bill include Hedex & Eksman, Kmotionz, Mozey, Basslayerz, Run in the Jungle, Catching Cairo, TC (History Set), Critical Impact, Javeon (live), Dazee, Crystal Clear, Soundgyal Saf, and more. Tickets are still on sale.
Finally, the Sunday event (July 27) will see Sasha and John Digweed take to the stage for a three-hour set with support from Marsh and Redfreya, as well as a second area. Tickets are on their final release.
How to get to Siren
Siren events are taking place at the Amphitheatre in the city. Bus services into the city centre will take you close by, while there are also nearby car parks at Millennium Square, as well as taxi drop-off points, e-scooters and bikes.
Be mindful of the Clean Air Zone (CAZ) in the city if you plan on driving – you can find more information on Bristol’s CAZ on the council’s website.

It’s advised that all attendees bring sun cream and suitable warm and dry clothing in case of any unforeseen weather conditions, and to bear in mind that the site is located in an exposed position on Bristol’s waterfront so can get colder in the evening.
There will be no cash machines on site, with contactless payments in place at bars and food outlets on site. It’s recommended you bring all the cash you expect you need for the day with you.
Large bags are not allowed to be taken into the event. Small bags no larger than A4 size (21cm x 30cm) are allowed but will be subject to a search on entry.
Here’s a list of items you cannot bring with you:
- Anything illegal or offensive
- Food and drink – there will be licensed bars and catering open throughout the event
- Illegal substances and New Psychoactive Substances (Legal Highs) – organisers take any drug use very seriously, including the use of nitrous oxide inside or outside of the event, and anyone found in possession of drugs may face prosecution.
- Glass or aerosols, including bottles. For perfume, it is recommended you use a refillable travel perfume atomiser spray bottle
- Seats and chairs
- Parasols – you may however bring a small umbrella if you feel this is necessary depending on the forecast on the day (large umbrellas, golf and fishing umbrellas will not be permitted)
- Tents, gazebos, tables, BBQs, stoves and gas canisters
- Banners and flags with sticks/poles
- Animals, with the exception of assistance dogs
- Dangerous or hazardous items, such as knives, scissors, flares, fireworks, lighter fuel, aerosols, spray cans, air horns, klaxons or similar, and laser pens
- Chinese lanterns and fireworks
- Bicycles, skateboards and scooters
- Any other items not included in the above list that event staff consider to be unsafe or pose a risk to public safety and/or security
You are allowed to bring prescribed medication on site when accompanied by a doctor’s note or valid medical certificate.
Will there be food and drink on site?
Food stalls and bars will be on site selling refreshments across the three days.
