Two museums in Manchester have been named among the most family-friendly in Europe, according to new data.
The Science and Industry Museum and the People’s History Museum are both featured in the top ten, alongside attractions in London, Rome and Amsterdam.
Online travel booking company Omio ranked the sites according to Tripadvisor data. It comes just in time as schools break up for the summer holidays with families looking for fun activities to do with the kids.
They filtered the museums using the following categories: ‘Children’s Museums’ and ‘Good for kids’. The results were then ranked by travellers’ favourites to determine the top ten.
