Mateo Joseph could potentially be affected this transfer window as Leeds United travel to Germany for pre-season training.
The Whites’ eight-day camp got underway on Monday (21 July), with the Spanish youngster not part of the travelling group.
Joseph was absent from Daniel Farke’s team that drew against Manchester United in Sweden.
With Patrick Bamford surplus to requirements at Elland Road, the 21-year-old striker will certainly have a role to play in West Yorkshire.

Joseph has been given time to reset and recharge at base as his teammates train for pre-season, according to Leeds Live.
The news outlet reports (21 July) that the Spain Under-21 international’s presence in Germany is uncertain, but he’s not for sale at Elland Road.
Joseph’s Championship record last season.
It’s been claimed that staff have noted the 21-year-old’s hunger and desire for game time, but it remains to be seen whether he will get regular minutes in the Premier League.
Farke relied on Joel Piroe as his number nine last season, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see him stick with the Dutch national as his first-choice centre-forward.

Leeds have put a £10million price tag on Joseph in the ongoing transfer window, but it doesn’t look like they want to sell him.
The 21-year-old could potentially force the Whites to sanction his exit this summer after struggling to get into the starting lineup last season.
Farke gave the Spanish youngster plenty of opportunities at the start of the previous campaign, but Piroe eventually pipped him in the pecking order.
Joseph’s prospects at Leeds seemingly don’t look encouraging after their promotion to the Premier League.
The young striker found regular game time hard to come by in the Championship, and it will arguably be even more challenging in the English top flight.
It makes sense for the Whites to keep the 21-year-old for now as they lack enough options for the number nine position, but the Spanish centre-forward may have other ideas, which could make attacking reinforcements a priority before the end of August.
