Good Morning Britain viewers were left frustrated over a presenter shake-up on Tuesday
Good Morning Britain fans “turned over” minutes into Tuesday’s (July 22) show as they issued the same complaint.
During today’s broadcast of the popular ITV show, presenters Kate Garraway and Ed Balls brought audiences up to speed with breaking news from Britain and beyond.
Laura Tobin was on hand in the studio providing weather forecasts throughout the programme, whilst Jonathan Swain delivered additional news bulletins.
Kate and Ed discussed fresh legislation aimed at targeting those profiting from illegal Channel crossings, as well as revealing a new investigation into women’s reproductive healthcare.
The presenting duo also chatted with JLS member JB Gill regarding his recent professional ventures, reports the Mirror.

Elsewhere, regular pundit Kevin Maguire joined the show to debate current affairs, though his usual co-star Andrew Pierce was replaced by former Tory MP Michael Gove.
During the segment, Kevin and Michael disagreed over the small boats crisis and Nigel Farage’s “zero-tolerance” approach on crime.
The pair also examined the continuing Middle East crisis following calls from Britain and 27 additional nations for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
Commenting on Labour’s administration, Michael remarked: “There’s a difference between what diplomacy can achieve and what the public want.”
Kevin added: “You need lots of different policies, and I think you just get a change of government where you get a fresh approach. The old government has got bogged down. There’s no single measure that’ll solve [immigration].”

Upon seeing Michael on Good Morning Britain, viewers swiftly expressed their displeasure on X (formerly Twitter).
“You’ve got to be joking? Bye,” one person wrote, with another adding: “Why is Michael Gove on GMB this morning? Defo switching over.”
A third said: “Is it just me or is Gove getting way more talking time than Maguire?” with another sharing: “#GMB why do you have Gove on? No one wants to watch that.”
A fifth viewer echoed the sentiment, saying: “Michael Gove currently on #GMB. What a disgrace. Had to turn off after 2 mins.”
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV1 and ITVX at 6am
