Bangladesh has made a sensational start against Pakistan, reducing them to a precarious 15 runs for 5 wickets in the second T20I at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.

Litton Das once again showed faith in Sheikh Mahedi with the new ball. Mahedi delivered a good line and length in the very first over of the innings and provided the team with an early breakthrough. Saim Ayub was run out off the last ball of his over.

While spin started from one end, Litton opted for pace from the other, handing the new ball to Shoriful. The left-arm pacer provided a crucial breakthrough in the second over of the innings, trapping Mohammad Haris leg before wicket for a golden duck.

Experienced opener Fakhar Zaman also failed to last long. Shoriful dismissed him, caught by Litton, after he scored 8 runs off 8 balls before returning to the pavilion.

In the fifth over of the innings, Tanzim Sakib was introduced into the attack for the first time. The pacer immediately joined the wicket-taking spree.

Sakib bowled a slightly short-of-a-length delivery which moved away outside off-stump and Hasan Nawaz was caught behind off an outside edge. Mohammad Nawaz followed him back to the dugout on the very next ball, leaving Pakistan reeling at 15 runs for 5 wickets.

At the end of 6 overs, Pakistan has scored 17 runs for the loss of 5 wickets. They now need another 117 runs from the remaining 84 balls to win.
