ARLINGTON — The Martha Canfield Memorial Free Library’s 2025 Book Lovers Auction will run from noon on Wednesday until noon on Aug. 9, with participants free to browse and place bids during that window.
The auction will offer over 50 items that have been donated by local businesses, organizations and individuals – with all proceeds supporting the library’s programs, activities and services to the local community.
The auction will hold a unique and eclectic selection of vintage and practical items, ranging in value from $20 to “priceless.” There are autographed books from local authors, personal experiences with local community members and businesses, ski tickets, entertainment, dining, fitness, jewelry, and more.
Those interested may browse the selection of items at 32auctions.com/MCMFLauction2025 and register to bid when the auction goes live. Library staff suggest that participants check back regularly to see see where their bid stands and to also see what new additions may have been added.
