Two Islanders have been dumped from the Love Island villa as fans will also see the return of two familiar faces.

In the latest episode aired on July 22, the villa was transformed into a festival site for the inaugural Love Island Festival, complete with a special guest performance. However, the festivities were cut short by host Maya Jama’s unexpected arrival, as she announced: “I haven’t just come here for the goss, I have some news.”

Maya revealed that after a public vote for their favourite boy and girl, Yasmin and Toni topped the girls’ list, while Cach and Ty led among the boys. But the mood shifted when Maya disclosed the least popular contestants, with Billykiss, Emma, and Angel at risk among the girls, and Boris, Conor, and Harry for the boys.

The tension peaked as Emma and Boris were identified as having the fewest votes, resulting in their departure from the island. Yet, there was another twist waiting as the Islanders gathered around the firepit.

Returning to the scene, Maya declared: “Right, let’s get down to business.”, reports OK!. Billykiss and Angel also faced potential elimination, but in an unexpected turn, the decision of who would leave was placed in the hands of those who had received the most public votes.

Toni, Yasmin, Cach, and Ty faced the daunting task of making a significant decision, with viewers left in suspense until tomorrow’s episode to find out who will be leaving. Additionally, fans are set for a treat as two former contestants make a surprise return.

In a sneak peek of tomorrow night’s episode, Blu and Megan were spotted heading back to the villa, stirring excitement with the teaser: “Look who’s back.”

Megan shared her thoughts: “I’m excited to go back in, I think I left quite abruptly and I’m going back in for some clarity. It was an easy decision to make. When you can’t speak to people for a couple of weeks and have to watch them on telly every night, you want some answers.”

Meanwhile, Blu remarked: “There’s a bit of open space now and people know the game a little bit more, so hopefully the couple of girls I’ve got my eyes on are willing to explore. I told you all from the get go I’m not leaving and I’m not f***ing leaving!”.

Love Island continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX
