Laurel Place is the company’s fourth care home in the North East.
It supports adults with complex needs resulting from dementia, neuro-disabilities, mental health conditions, and physical disabilities.
The home includes 32 large bedrooms and six single-occupancy apartments, each with an ensuite wet room.
The layout is divided into three communities to create a ‘homely, supportive environment’.
Additional facilities include communal dining and living spaces, sensory bathrooms, a beauty salon, sensory and therapy rooms, an activities hub, and a visitor suite.
Residents will receive both clinical and holistic support from a compassionate, skilled team focused on maximising independence and quality of life.
Luke Skelton, home manager at Laurel Place, said: “I’m passionate about creating an inclusive, empowering environment where individuals can thrive.
“We want Laurel Place to feel like home, a place where people can be themselves, enjoy their independence, and live life to the fullest.
