Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, is looking to recruit candidates in Liverpool to join its multinational cabin crew team. The Dubai-based airline is holding recruitment events across the UK.
The Emirates Group has kickstarted a global talent scouting and acquisition drive and is looking to onboard 17,300 people, across 350 roles. The airline says: “these roles span every facet, function and operations.” Hundreds of new recruits are required across some roles, including cabin crew, pilots, engineers, commercial and sales teams, customer service, ground handling, catering, IT, HR and finance.
Since 2022, the Group has onboarded more than 41,000 talented professionals, including nearly 27,000 in various operational roles, and today has a 121,000-strong workforce.
A recruitment day will be held in Liverpool at the Delta Hotels by Marriot (Queen Square) on August 17 2025 at 9am. There is a dress code in place that people should be aware of. You must have your hair neatly presented or tied back, a face with full make up or clean shaven and a smart attire. Your shoes should be heels or formal work shoes.
Emirates says: “Our new recruits undergo an intense seven and a half weeks of training in the highest standards of safety and service delivery in our state-of-the-art facility in Dubai.”

To be considered for Emirates cabin crew you’ll need to be:
- Fluent in written and spoken English (additional languages are an advantage)
- A natural team player with a personality that shines
- At least 160cm tall and able to reach 212cm high
- Able to meet the UAE’s employment visa requirements
- At least 21 years old
And have:
- At least 1 year of hospitality or customer service experience
- A minimum of high school (Grade 12) education
- No visible tattoos while in Emirates cabin crew uniform
Walk into any of the Open Days happening all over the world. You don’t have to submit your application before you attend. Candidates are advised to read the requirements and arrive at the Open Day venue by the start time to register.

Currently, high performing Cabin Crew have been able to attain the position of Flight Purser within five years and many have also become trainers in cabin service. Many people in middle and upper management joined the airline as Cabin Crew and now work in other departments.
