Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in London to a warm welcome from the Indian diaspora, ahead of the signing of a landmark Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the United Kingdom-one of the key highlights of his visit. During his brief but packed schedule before departing for the Maldives, PM Modi is set to hold wide-ranging talks with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer at Chequers and meet King Charles III. The FTA and his audience with the monarch are being seen as the centrepiece of the visit, which also aims to boost the India-UK Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
