Apple TV+ has released a date announcement teaser for “The Last Frontier” series, which premieres on October 10th on the streamer.

The series stars Jason Clarke, Dominic Cooper, Haley Bennett, Simone Kessel, Dallas Goldtooth, Tait Blum, and acting veteran Alfre Woodard.

Clarke plays Frank Remnick, the lone U.S. marshal in charge of a quiet and rugged patch of Alaska. His world is turned upside-down when a prison transport plane crashes in the remote wilderness, setting free dozens of violent inmates.

Tasked with protecting the town he’s vowed to keep safe, he begins to suspect the crash wasn’t an accident, but the first step of a well-crafted plan with far-reaching and devastating implications.

The series is executive produced by Jon Bokenkamp (“The Blacklist”) and Richard D’Ovidio who also serve as writers. Also executive producing are Clarke, Laura Benson, Glenn Kessler, Albert Kim, and series episodic director Sam Hargrave (“Extraction”).

Shot over ten months in Montreal last year, the series runs for ten episodes. It’s not known how many episodes will premiere on the launch date.
