A famous Liverpool landmark is set to host two gigs showcasing famous dance anthems. Cream Classical showcases some of the best dance tracks over the last 40 years from its longstanding residency in Ibiza.
Originating from the 1990s Cream club in Liverpool city centre, the company then started the Creamfields festival on the old Speke airfield before moving to Daresbury in Cheshire. It also hosts events in Europe too, including in Ibiza. Earlier this year, Cream Classical was held on the Pier Head as part of the On The Waterfront festival.
Now, it has been announced that a Cream Classical event will be held at Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral later this year, for what organisers predict will be one of the “city’s most iconic live music experiences”.
At the heart of the show will be a soundtrack of Cream’s most defining tracks. Cream say these will be “brought to life within the spectacular grandeur of the Cathedral, taking audiences on a journey through dance music history.”
The company added: “This immersive live experience celebrates over 30 years of Cream’s dance legacy in one of the city’s most breathtaking venues.

“With over three decades of global dancefloor heritage, Cream remains one of the most influential names in electronic music. Cream Classical is a bold celebration of that legacy – euphoric, unforgettable, and unlike anything else in the UK.”
There will be two shows, taking place on October 31 and November 1.
Cream say that tickets are expected to sell-out quickly, with anyone interested encouraged to register for the presale. This begins at 9am on Thursday July 31.
Any remaining tickets will be available from 10am an hour later. You can find out more here.
