An application was submitted to Broadland District Council for a former car sales site in Norwich Road, along the B1150, in Horstead.
After being approved this week the site will be converted from a mixed-use car showroom and workshop, to Class E – for use as a podiatry clinic.

“Inside, the layout has been designed to meet accessibility requirements and the overall scale of the use fits well with the building and its surroundings.
“The plan sits comfortably within the conservation area and local context, offering a low-impact, positive addition without creating any adverse effects.
“The building is a single-storey structure of modern construction with on-site parking provision for 12 vehicles.”
