Nearby Derrygonnelly Harps GAA clubs said: “We are so sad to hear of Aaron’s passing, a lovely fella. Lots of our members will have memories from school with Aaron.
“We extend our sincerest sympathies to his parents, brother and family circle, especially Aaron’s uncle Eamon and family here at Springfield and Monea. May God rest Aaron’s soul.”
Erne boxing club stated: “Our heartfelt condolences and sympathies go out to the family and friends of Aaron Leonard. Aaron was Rhys Owens Strength & Conditioning coach and worked with him in the lead up to National Elite & Ulster Elite title successes.

Leonard previously worked with Smart Gym and they shared their tribute online. “It is with deep sadness that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of Aaron Leonard,” a statement read.
“Aaron was part of the Smart Gym team for a time, and during that period, he made a lasting impact on both staff and members alike. More than just a coach, Aaron brought warmth, motivation, and genuine care to those around him. His energy, kindness, and passion for helping others left a mark that won’t be forgotten.
“To Aaron’s family and loved ones, we are thinking of you and holding you close in our hearts during this incredibly difficult time.”
One Smart Gym user replied: “Just the most gentle soul you could ever meet and so talented at his job.”
