Michelle Keegan has reprised her role as fan favourite Erin Croft in the teaser trailer for Brassic‘s seventh and final season.

The critically-acclaimed comedy, which will return on Sky and NOW at some point later this year, has also shared several first-look images, featuring Keegan and her co-stars Joe Gilgun, Ryan Sampson, Aaron Heffernan, Parth Thakerar, Joanna Higson, Steve Evets and Bhavna Limbachia.

Teasing an “unmissable send-off”, Brassic is expected to see Vinnie (Gilgun) and the crew taking on their “biggest challenge yet” while “clashing with old enemies, confronting long-lost family, and diving headfirst into chaos.”

Ahead of the season seven premiere, co-creator Danny Brocklehurst has spoken about the show’s impressive run.

“When Joe Gilgun and I sat down to create Brassic, we couldn’t have imagined, in our wildest dreams, that we would do seven series and gather such a loyal and loving fan base,” he said in January.

“It’s been a complete joy to create this eccentric world, but all good things must come to an end, and we want to stop while we are still riding high. Maybe they can finally give us that BAFTA!”

Meanwhile, Keegan, who made her debut in the first season of Brassic in 2019, has penned an emotional farewell on Instagram.

Following the conclusion of the season seven shoot, the actor wrote: “So, finally the Brassic journey has come to an end (feels so strange saying that) and what an unbelievable 7 years it’s been. I feel so privileged to have been a small part of such a mighty show.

“From the moment I read the [first] script, I knew this job was going to be special [and] it definitely was,” she continued. “Thank you to everyone who worked on the show over the years for the laughs, friendship and more importantly, the memories…”

Brassic season seven will premiere later this year. Series 1-6 are available to watch on Sky on-demand and NOW in the UK.
