The Blues are tackling Glentoran tomorrow and while they’re out in Northern Ireland, Chester will be conducting a two-day training camp.

Boss Calum McIntyre told Chester FC TV: “We’ll get a different type of test in Northern Ireland, which we’re all looking forward to.

“Really, it’s just about gearing up to that opening game and I actually feel really positive about where the group’s at and around where we’re at on the pitch.”

CFU vice-chair Jim Green told the club’s website. “The players and staff are excited to be heading across to Northern Ireland for what will be a demanding yet hugely rewarding few days.

“The facilities we will be using are first class and our hosts couldn’t have done more for us. The opportunity for players to spend four days together in close proximity will be really valuable. They’ll travel together, train together, eat together, and we’ve planned some team-building activities for them to get stuck into too.”

Connah’s Quay players will be busy tomorrow.

Nomads have two friendlies lined up, starting with a morning friendly with Telford. This is followed in the afternoon by a trip to Vauxhall Motors.
