The sun is shining, we are just past halfway through the year, and even Halloween seems a long way off. But some of us might already be thinking about Christmas, and you are not the only ones.

Although it is still months away, we all know Christmas will come around quickly and many events and attractions in Wales already have their Christmas tickets on sale. If you want to be super organised, you can start planning your Christmas in Wales now.

Here are some of the best Christmas events you can book now in Wales.

Christmas at Bute Park

Christmas at Bute Park, the epic light trail, is returning to the Welsh capital for 2025.

At Christmas at Bute Park you follow an amazing light trail complete with sound and interactive experiences, through the iconic Cardiff park.

Christmas at Bute Park is very popular, and tickets are already on sale.

This year there will also be two dedicated inclusive evenings, where capacity will be reduced by 75% and audio volume will be lowered to allow people to make their way around the trail.

These evenings are taking place on Wednesday, December 3, and Wednesday, December 10.

Christmas at Bute Park is running from Friday, November 21, until Wednesday, December 31.

Popular and luxury hotel the Celtic Manor, just outside of Newport, is already gearing up for Christmas.

You can book festive stays, festive dining, and even meet Santa at Santa’s tea party, which is running from Saturday, November 29, until Christmas Eve.

Sleeping Beauty

The New Theatre in Cardiff has announced its Christmas 2025 pantomime, and it is Sleeping Beauty.

Sleeping Beauty, which will run from Saturday, December 6, 2025, to Sunday, January 4, 2026, will star Gethin Jones as Prince Gethin.

He will be joined by BBC Radio 2 host Owain Wyn Evans, who will play the Spirit of Pantomime, and comedian Mike Doyle who will also feature in the panto cast as Nurse Nellie.

Christmas at Forage Farm

Forage Farm in Cowbridge already has its Christmas events ready to book.

Included in your ticket is the magical elf Mabel show, meeting Father Christmas, character meet and greets, sending letters to Santa, marshmallow roasting, Christmas crafts and decorations, glitter tattoos, and festive photo opportunities.

Mary Poppins will run from Wednesday, December 3, to Saturday, January 10, 2026. Tickets are on sale now.

Reindeer Lodge

Taking place at Reindeer Lodge in Mold is a brilliant Christmas event with an enchanted lakeside and mystical woodland, hidden elf villages, beautiful staging, stunning lights, and enthralling stage shows, for an unforgettable memory-making visit to meet Father Christmas and his reindeer herds.
