Coronation Street has teased trouble for Carla Connor as new spoiler clips see her keeping a huge secret from Lisa Swain.

Since Lisa discovered that her late wife Becky was accused of corruption, the detective has been determined to get to the truth.

However, Lisa’s obsession has taken a toll on both her career and wellbeing, which hasn’t gone unnoticed by her girlfriend Carla.

Next week, Carla takes matters into her own hands, when she visits Logan Radcliffe in prison. As Logan was the one driving the car that killed Becky, Carla questions if he knows more than he’s letting on.

In the newly-released clip, Logan smugly refers to Lisa’s late wife as “Backhand Becky”, but refuses to confirm if Becky was corrupt.

When a frustrated Carla accuses him of messing with her head, he admits that he’s open to bribery. Carla agrees to pay for information but how will Lisa react to her digging?

Meanwhile, a second clip has revealed a big development in Abi and Carl Webster’s romance, after Abi learns the truth about Kevin’s chemotherapy lie.

Abi questions why she fiercely stood by her husband, despite her feelings for his brother. Declaring that her marriage is over, she throws caution to the wind and kisses Carl.
