Leeds United still have a lot of work to do this summer.
Daniel Farke looks set to have his squad bolstered for the seventh time this summer, with a deal for Lucas Perri imminent after an agreement was reached with Lyon.
So far, the Whites have strengthened their defence and midfield, and will be hoping to seal several more arrivals before their campaign gets underway in August.
With that said, the latest update on Patrick Bamford will see those plans accelerated at Elland Road, and it is clear what they need to do.

Bamford has been told he is no longer in Leeds’ plans, while Mateo Joseph has handed in a transfer request, amplifying the need for the Whites to sign a new striker.
With that in mind, Paul Robinson has expressed the importance of a new number nine when speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News.
He said: “I think there’s more to come from Leeds.
Bamford’s record at Leeds United
“It is glaringly obvious that they need a new striker. Obviously, with the things that have been said in the press recently about Patrick Bamford, he’s clearly going to leave the club.
“Mateo Joseph has expressed his interest in leaving the club this summer, so it is crucial that Leeds sign one, or maybe even two new strikers, in the coming weeks.“

While the season is still a few weeks away, Farke will want the majority of his squad together for pre-season; otherwise, they face the risk of having a slow start.
On the attacker front, nothing appears to be imminent, and that will need to change in the coming days, with it now a clear priority to bolster their forward line.
