Sheffield Wednesday and Hull City remain under embargoes, and Birmingham City’s business has slowed.

Boro have completed their first signing of the summer, and another deal is thought to be close.
We provided a Middlesbrough transfer update recently, with it our understanding that Abdoulaye Kante is on his way to the Riverside Stadium, over a year after the Teessiders started following the player.
As well as Kante, Boro are still pushing for a Callum Brittain deal.
Elsewhere, Rob Edwards could get a dream signing, with Middlesbrough expected to ‘keep pushing’ to sign Alfie Doughty from his former club, Luton Town.
Sheffield United lose transfer race
Sheffield United failed to win promotion in 2024/25 and, after sacking Chris Wilder, have set about revamping their squad ahead of another Premier League push.
However, there is one player the Blades will not be signing this summer, as we have already revealed.
Colorado Rapids are signing Rob Holding after the MLS club fended off competition from Sheffield United and Wrexham.

Another big name could leave, with it previously being said that Brentford had a £35m bid for Omari Hutchinson rejected.
