Multiple suspected stolen off-road bikes were seized from a property in Birmingham.

West Midlands Police shared pictures of the haul on Saturday morning, July 26, showing the haul, which included one 2020 plate bike, tied to the back of a recovery truck.

The force confirmed a teenager was arrested on suspicion of theft and and handling stolen goods.

The bikes were recovered from an address on Wyatt Road in Sutton Coldfield, and were being examined.

Bikers were also warned about making their wheels safe by taking precautions to prevent theft.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said on July 26: “A number of stolen off-road bikes have been seized from a house in Birmingham.

“Officers from the Sutton and Erdington neighbourhood team carried out searches at an address in Wyatt Road, where they recovered nine off-road bikes, motorcycles and scooters.

“A teenager was arrested on suspicion of theft of motor vehicles and handling stolen goods.

“He has since been bailed with strict conditions while our enquiries continue.

“The bikes are being examined and should be reunited with their owners in due course.

“In 2024, more than 5,000 stolen vehicles of all types were recovered by our teams across the West Midlands.

“Our teams are working daily to track down those responsible and break up the criminal networks who profit from vehicle theft.
