DITO Telecommunity delivered the best 5G internet performance in the Philippines from July 2024 to June 2025, according to the latest barometer report by network performance testing company nPerf.

In a competitive landscape among the country’s major mobile providers — Dito, Globe, and the Smart/Sun/TNT group — Dito led in nearly all technical categories, including download and upload speeds. The operator posted average download speeds of 235.94 Mbps and upload speeds of 20.86 Mbps, well ahead of its competitors. It also received the highest overall nPerf score with 81,855 points, a reflection of network quality, speed, and user experience.

Globe came in third overall with a score of 64,826 points but stood out for low latency, averaging 63.75 milliseconds, and shared top marks with Smart/Sun/TNT in video streaming performance. Globe subscribers benefited from a responsive network for gaming and real-time applications, as well as smooth video playback.

Smart/Sun/TNT took second place overall with 66,376 points and performed particularly well in streaming, registering the highest video streaming score at 77.54 percent. However, it struggled in latency, averaging 90.09 milliseconds — the highest among the three.

While each operator showcased different strengths — Dito in raw speed, Globe in latency and user balance, and Smart/Sun/TNT in streaming — the report noted that this competition ultimately benefits Filipino consumers, who now have more options tailored to varied digital needs.
