Jayden Bogle is having the season of his life at Leeds United, as Chris Wilder will deeply regret his sale no doubt.

It was a situation which was out of Wilder’s hands, but Bogle opted for the move to Leeds in the summer.

In what was a controversial move from the 24-year-old, it’s paid off dividends as the right-back has lit up the Championship from both a defensive point of view and an attacking.

Sheffield United have partly gift-wrapped the Whites promotion if it’s secured, as Leeds can repeat the Bogle trick with Gustavo Hamer in the summer.

The Blades boss won’t be happy with how it’s all panned out and will certainly be intrigued to see what Bogle said about his former club.

Both clubs have gone toe-to-toe for the whole season, but judging by the current standings, it’s Daniel Farke’s side that will come out on top.

Although this is the case, a threat awaits the Whites as Farke’s record against Gary Rowett is poor as Leeds gear up to face his Oxford United team.

This isn’t a good look, but the hope is that their form has had the blip it needed to get them back on track.

Wilder will be hoping the opposite as his Blades team need to fight back, and Bogle clearly saw the funny side when asked about his former employers.

Speaking to BBC West Yorkshire Sport, Bogle gave his honest verdict when asked about the club.

“(Laughs) Nah, I’m just focused on what I’m doing here,” Bogle said.

“Focused on what it will mean for me, the club and the fans.”

Bogle going to Leeds was a season-changing decision from Wilder

With the right-back no doubt in the running for player of the season, Wilder has had a mare with this transfer.

The 24-year-old did impress at Sheffield, and that’s why it’s been a real blow to the club since he left.

Bogle prefers Leeds’ mindset to Sheffield United as he has clearly found a better place at Elland Road.

If Bogle had stayed at Bramall Lane, maybe the two sides would be in each other’s places at this current moment, which emphasises just how good Bogle has been for Farke this season.
