West Midlands Police officers were called to reports of a stabbing on Gibson Road in Handsworth, Birmingham just after 3am today (July 26).
They found a man in his 20s with serious injuries, and he was taken to hospital where he remains.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: “Detectives from our Major Crime Unit are investigating to establish the details and identify who was involved.
“Anyone who can help our investigation with information, doorbell or dash cam footage is asked to get in touch with us.
