Glasson Fertilisers, a UK manufacturer and supplier of agricultural fertiliser products, has opened a new facility in Bristol.
The site is said to be ‘ramping up’ production just months after becoming fully operational, as part of efforts to expand operations across the South West of England.
Robert Ingham, director of Glasson Fertilisers, said: “We’re very pleased to see our Avonmouth operation ramping up production in line with our plans.
“Our investment is a clear signal of our intention to build our fertiliser business.
“We are proud to support British agriculture with reliable, high-quality products and advisory services that farmers can turn to when considering soil health and efficient crop production.”

The Avonmouth site is fitted with cutting-edge blending and handling technology.
The system aims to ensure consistent product quality and environmental performance at the plant.
The facility’s location at the Port of Avonmouth, a deep-sea port, is beneficial for the importation of raw materials and distribution logistics.
Mr Ingham added: “Our fertiliser business is a vital part of our future.
“We are investing in the people, infrastructure, and technology needed to ensure we remain a leading UK supplier of blended fertiliser and a trusted partner to farmers and the wider trade for years to come.”
Glasson Fertilisers serves a wide customer base with fertiliser solutions that aim to help maximise crop and forage production and support sustainable farming practices.
The firm’s expert teams offer soil sampling analysis and advice based on soil health and crop requirements, and its fertiliser ranges can be tailored to the specific needs of individual farmers.
