Taking a walk along Birmingham’s most expensive street, it’s not hard to see why it’s so exclusive, and why you need a fair bit of cash to live here.
It’s one big house after another, many of them behind high walls or gates for added security.
It’s not uncommon to see multiple cars parked on the drive, some of them sports cars or top-of-the-range SUVs.

Yep, it’s a pretty exclusive club and out of reach for ordinary folks.
For those who know Birmingham, you won’t be surprised to learn this is Edgbaston, among the most upmarket areas of the city.
It’s home to the four most expensive streets in the city, based on latest property sales figures.
Westfield Road is the most expensive street.
The leafy street comes off the main Hagley Road, and isn’t far from the city centre and Edgbaston Reservoir.
