Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been harshly criticized by a PR expert who labeled them as “damaged goods” and stated they would not recommend any clients to collaborate with the couple.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are back in the headlines this week amid claims that their high-profile Netflix deal is unlikely to be renewed come September.
Since inking a deal with Netflix in 2020, Harry and Meghan’s productions, aside from their initial explosive docuseries, have struggled to spark interest, and their public favor has been on a steady decline.
The Sussexes have faced a barrage of negative media coverage, with detractors condemning their various projects and their contentious relationship with the Royal Family.
Amidst the recent news about their Netflix venture’s shortcomings, a PR professional has lambasted the pair, suggesting that “everything they touch turns to dust”.
Over five years, Harry and Meghan have released a total of five projects on Netflix.
Their most recent projects include With Love, Meghan, a cooking show featuring the Duchess that debuted this year, and Polo, a documentary showcasing Harry’s enthusiasm for the sport, which premiered last year.
These followed the couple’s Heart Of Invictus series, launched in 2023, which succeeded Live to Lead and the Sussexes’ explosive docuseries, Harry & Meghan, in 2022.
