This is the face of a 33-year-old woman who stabbed a man during a row in his Smethwick flat.

Jessica Jury fled the South Road property after knifing the victim on September 5 last year.

He suffered serious injuries but was now recovering, police said.

Jury was arrested in Harborne the next day, and later pleaded guilty to wounding with intent.

She was jailed for five-and-a-half years at Wolverhampton Crown Court on April 11.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “A woman who stabbed a man following an argument at his flat in Smethwick has been jailed.

“Jessica Jury fled after injuring the man in South Road at around 4.15pm on 5 September last year.

“He sustained serious injuries but is now recovering.

“We managed to trace Jury to the Harborne area the following day and she was arrested.

“The 33-year-old, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty in March. She was jailed for five years and six months at Wolverhampton Crown Court last Friday.

“Knives can ruin lives and those who use them face being put behind bars and losing their freedom.”
