Home and Away has launched a very exciting competition for UK fans, offering a lucky winner a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
The Australian soap is set to embark on a major new storyline that sees the drama move from Summer Bay to Western Australia for the first time in the soap’s 37-year history.
Specific plot details are being kept tightly under wraps for now ahead of the filming in October, but we can reveal that scenes will take place across Perth, the coastline and the vast red Outback.
It’s being teased as a “ambitious, high-stakes” storyline that will put Western Australia at the centre of the plot.

This is where the competition element comes in, as 5 is teaming up with Tourism Western Australia to offer a two-person trip, covering eight nights in Western Australia’s Coral Coast.
The winner and their plus one will land in Perth and take part in “an Aboriginal cultural experience” upon their arrival, before getting the chance to explore the city.
Over the next few days, there will be a visit to the World Heritage-listed Ningaloo Marine Park, snorkeling in the reefs, swimming alongside manta rays, and a hike up the Cape Range National Park.
And here comes the once-in-a-lifetime aspect: the winner will then get to see behind-the-scenes of the soap on its temporary Western Australia set.

“We’re stoked to be heading across to beautiful Western Australia for Home and Away’s first time ever this October,” Tane Parata actor Ethan Browne said. “It’s awesome to be able to bring one of our UK fans along for the ride, too! We can’t wait to see one of you there!”

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5, with repeat screenings at 6pm on 5STAR and first-look screenings at 6.30pm on 5STAR. Selected classic episodes are available via Prime Video in the UK.
In Australia, the show airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7pm on Channel 7 and streams on 7Plus.
