The countdown is well and truly on until Oasis take to Murrayfield for three nights as part of their comeback tour after a 16-year hiatus.

The Gallagher brothers and their iconic band are heading to Edinburgh in less than two weeks to delight fans at three sold out shows. Tickets were like gold dust to get and we’re sure it’ll be parka jackets and bucket hats galore.

Earlier this month, the pair kicked off their string of sold-out reunion shows at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, before they headed to Manchester and London ahead of the Edinburgh and Dublin dates on their UK and Ireland leg of the show.

Many fans want to know if the setlist has been the same for the whole tour or if it’s likely to change, and it seems there’s no surprises as the order so far for Cardiff, Manchester and London has all been the same.

Here’s the full setlist from the gigs so far:

  • Hello
  • Acquiesce
  • Morning Glory
  • Some Might Say
  • Bring it on down
  • Cigarettes & Alcohol
  • Fade Away
  • Supersonic
  • Roll With It
  • Talk Tonight
  • Half the World Away
  • Little by Little
  • D’You Know What I Mean
  • Stand By Me
  • Cast No Shadow
  • Slide Away
  • Whatever
  • Live Forever
  • Rock and Roll Star

Encore happens and then the show wraps up with these songs:

  • The Masterplan
  • Don’t Look Back in Anger
  • Wonderwall
  • Champagne Supernova

Oasis are set to play a total of 23 songs over the three evenings in Edinburgh. Noel and Liam have saved their most popular songs for last up until now, ending the stellar evening with Wonderwall into Champagne Supernova – the close track of the band’s second album.

For their UK and Ireland, the supporting acts are The Verve’s Richard Ashcroft and Liverpool band Cast.

Both have history with Oasis, with Britpop band Cast having supported the brothers previously back in 1996 at Knebworth. Richard Ashcroft has also been involved in a collab with Liam Gallagher on stage in recent years.

Fans have been promised to be transported back to the 90s with Ashcroft taking to the stage. The singer was announced as the official support act for the UK and Ireland dates last year.

Cast were formed with frontman John Powers after his split from The La’s, with many likely to recognise him from supporting Oasis in the 90s.

After their Edinburgh shows, Oasis will head to Dublin for two dates. The first leg of their UK tour will wrap up at the city’s Croke Park on August 17.

From there, Oasis will head across the Atlantic for shows in Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles and Mexico City, before returning to London for two additional Wembley dates at the end of September.

The tour then continues through Asia, Australia and South America, with the final show set for November 23 in São Paulo, Brazil.
