The producers of new London burlesque show Diamonds and Dust at the Emerald Theatre have announced that the show is being postponed until September 2025.

The show was originally booking from its start date on 16 June, to 28 September 2025. However, following the 12 July performance the production paused performances until the beginning of August. This news today postpones the show further, with Diamonds and Dust now restarting on 18 September 2025.

Diamonds and Dust stars Steps and musical theatre star Faye Tozer (101 Dalmatians, 42nd Street) as Miss Kitty LeRoy in a show created by international burlesque sensation Dita Von Teese, who was originally scheduled to appear at some performances as Lady Luck.

Dita von Teese is currently scheduled to appear in all five performances when the show re-opens, from 18 to 21 September.

Diamonds and Dust is produced by Tosca Rivola, Dita Von Teese, Dee Parsons and Julian Stoneman, with co-producers Sydney Max Lee, Sienna Sinclaire, Robert Testagrossa and Paul Dainty.

A joint statement issued by the producers on social media said: “We are heartbroken to share that due to ongoing work on both show and venue, we will only be able to re-open starting 18 September to kick off our fall season. This isn’t a decision we made lightly, and we know how disappointing this news is – especially for those who’ve supported us from the very beginning. We’re an independent production and theatre pushing to keep the burlesque art form alive in London, both for our bustling performer community and our lovely audiences. Burlesque and cabaret houses have been closing all [over] the world, and it is our mission [to] preserve our rich tradition. Despite the growing pains, we will be back bolder and brighter! All ticket holders will be contacted directly today with options, and our DMs are open for additional assistance, questions and solutions.”
