A man has been taken to hospital with a stab wound following an incident in a Welsh town centre. The incident happened at around 12.10pm on Tuesday, July 29, at Church Street, Pontypridd. According to South Wales Police the two men are known to each other and one of them received a single stab wound.
A 42-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and is in police custody.
A spokesman for the force said: “We were called just after 12.10pm this afternoon with a report of a disturbance between two men on Church Street, Pontypridd.
“Both men are known to each other; one man sustained a single stab wound and has been taken to hospital for treatment.
