Soak Up the Fringe in Style
Throughout the entire Fringe Festival, guests are invited to escape the crowds and unwind on the Minuty Terrace in the Forth Floor Brasserie. Overlooking the bustling St Andrew Square, guests can experience the taste of the French Riviera, whilst in the heart of Edinburgh. Enjoy the complete range of Minuty wines including its limited-edition bottle, Minuty M, in collaboration with Australian artist, Elliot Routledge. The Terrace offers an idyllic al fresco setting to sip and savour a chilled glass while soaking in the atmosphere of the city’s most vibrant month.
Also available daily inside the Brasserie is the exclusive Summer Set Menu, created in collaboration with Fever-Tree and Mirabeau. Priced at £35 per person, diners can enjoy a refreshing Rosé Spritz alongside a delicious three-course menu, crafted with seasonal ingredients and summer flair.
Welcome to the Weekend
Each weekend during the Fringe, Harvey Nichols will turn up the energy with live music, infusing the store with feel-good tunes that celebrate the best of Scottish culture and creative spirit. Plus, the luxury department store will be hosting a range activities designed to embrace the values of the iconic festival.
Saturday 2nd August – Frame the Moment
For one day only, the Ground Floor will host a luxury designer sunglasses photo booth where customers can try on the latest eyewear trends and snap stylish, social-worthy selfies. Whether you’re capturing Fringe memories or updating your summer look, this is your chance to see the city through new designer lenses.
Saturday 9th August – Empowering Emerging Talent
In the spirit of supporting new artists, Harvey Nichols is proud to partner with Hourglass Cosmetics to host an Emerging MUAs Masterclass from 11am – 1pm. This inspiring session, led by an Hourglass Pro Artist, will feature expert industry insights, a live demonstration of a day-to-night glam, and tips on breaking into the beauty industry. Tickets are available online for just £30 and include a glass of Prosecco, an Hourglass goody bag and £30 to spend towards your favourite Hourglass product.
Throughout the remainder of the day, customers can also enjoy complimentary eye demos, Prosecco*, and exclusive treats at the Hourglass counter – all designed to celebrate the creativity and craft of makeup artistry.
Friday 15th, Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th August – Minuty Moments
To complement the Terrace takeover, Minuty invites guests to indulge in an exclusive sampling session on Friday 15th and Saturday 16th August. Simply head to the Forth Floor Wine Shop, from 2:30pm – 6:30pm, to discover the sophisticated flavours of the Château Minuty range. As a special gift, guests who purchase two bottles will receive a luxurious Minuty beach towel, perfect for embracing the summer in style.
On Sunday 17th August, between 12pm and 3pm, Minuty will be delighting guests with a surprise treat. Simply head to our Ground Floor and be one of the first lucky customers to collect one of a limited number of beautifully designed postcards to find out more.
Saturday 23rd August – Trinny Turns One
Celebrate a year of flawless beauty with Trinny London as it marks the first anniversary of its Harvey Nichols Edinburgh counter with a bespoke Tips & Tricks Masterclass starting at 11am. For £30, guests will enjoy a session, complete with a glass of Prosecco, an exclusive goody bag, and £30 credit to shop your favourite Trinny products.
The celebration continues throughout the day with a series of intimate mini masterclasses at the counter.
