Saturday’s episode of Britain’s Got Talent will see an eager audience member jump out of his seat and beg Simon Cowell for an audition
Britain’s Got Talent was thrown into an unexpected frenzy when security had to step in as an audience member pleaded for a chance to audition, momentarily silencing Simon Cowell.
A preview for the upcoming Saturday (19 April) episode of the ITV show highlights the last leg of auditions, featuring Simon with fellow judges Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden, and KSI.
Released footage from the episode shows the auditions coming to a standstill when one eager audience member could no longer hold back his ambition to perform before BGT’s judging panel.
After persistently calling out to Simon, the hopeful individual exclaims: “19 years I’ve tried to get in front of you and I’ve never ever had that chance. Can you give me one opportunity? I can show you what I’ve got.”

Simon, seemingly astonished, rises to try and spot the voice from the crowd, identifying the man as singer Max Fox. Addressing him, Simon asks: “Come here, are you serious? Hang on, is this a wind up?”
Max strides towards the judges, but not without attracting attention from security. Nonetheless, Simon waves off the guards, willing to hear Max’s story, reports the Express.
“No, I’m a singer. I’m a local singer. My name’s Max, Max Fox,” he explains to Simon, adding, “I feel like it’s my last time.”
With Alesha, Amanda, and KSI looking on bewildered, it’s KSI who comments, admitting he’d “never seen this” type of interruption before.

Simon addresses Max, saying: “Alright, go do it. So this isn’t a set up? You just chanced it?”
Max replies: “I just chanced it, yeah. I got to the front of the audience and I just got lucky with this jacket, I think!”
Viewers eager to see how Max’s audition pans out will need to hang on until Saturday to discover if he succeeds in winning over the judges.
With the BGT auditions drawing to a close this week, the anticipation builds towards the live semi-finals which commence on Saturday, 26 April.
