Emmerdale spoilers follow from Wednesday’s episode (30 July), which is available to watch now on ITVX and YouTube but hasn’t yet aired on ITV1.
Emmerdale airs a reminder of Tom and Belle’s dark storyline tonight as Cain Dingle’s behaviour sparks a furious backlash.
As Cain continues to spiral out of control amid his latest family feud, it’s left to Belle to step in and dish out a few home truths.
Cain remains angry that his brother Sam and sister-in-law Lydia are continuing to work for the Tates up at Home Farm.
The village bad boy is demanding loyalty from the whole family, as Kim and Joe are currently putting pressure on Cain’s wife Moira to sell Butler’s Farm. Their tactics are getting nastier, and Cain mistakenly believes that Joe sent two intruders to Butler’s to scare Moira.

In Wednesday’s episode, the tensions reach boiling point as Cain visits Wishing Well Cottage and finds Joe brazenly sitting in Zak’s old chair.
Sam and Lydia’s loyalties are clearer than ever, and a terrible row unfolds once Joe leaves the Dingles to it.
The argument is no-holds-barred, with Sam even bringing up the tragic demise of Cain’s son Nate Robinson: “You even turned your back on your own son and look where he is now.”
However, as a raging Cain looks set to turn violent against his own brother, Belle points out the similarities to the way Tom operated in their abusive marriage.

“You’re never going to change. Sam’s right – you’re a bully.”
Will Belle’s tough words give Cain food for thought over his reckless actions? Fans can see the full drama unfold when the episode airs tonight at 7.30pm on ITV1, or it’s streaming early now on YouTube and ITVX.
Tom exited Emmerdale last December, when he was jailed for three years after being found guilty of his crimes against Belle.
He returned for a brief appearance in February this year, as Belle confronted Tom during a tense prison visit.
