Prince Harry has reportedly told friends that he will always have his wife’s back. In the midst of criticism addressed to the Duchess of Sussex, Harry’s support for Meghan Markle remains strong, according to a source.
A close friend told the Daily Mail: “It’s horrible for him to know that people don’t like his wife.” They added: “He adores her and doesn’t think she deserves any of the backlash or criticism that has been thrown at her over the past few years. He’s [Prince Harry] told us that the more people hate her, the more he’s going to stand by her. He’s vowed to always protect the mother of his kids.”
People Magazine reported that Meghan is upset by claims that she is unrelatable, and she expressed her frustration in an interview with the New York Times. Referring to her home setting, she said: “Don’t they know my life hasn’t always been like this?”
She added: “I never had a garden like this – growing up, I never had anything like this. I think no matter how much things change, I love that at our core, we’re the same as we’ve always been.”
Meghan recently launched her podcast on April 8, ‘Confessions of a Female Founder’ which is a joint venture with Lemonada Media.
Prince Harry told People Magazine: “I am so happy for my wife and fully support absolutely everything she’s done and continues to do.”
In March 2024, Meghan introduced her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, inspired by her Santa Barbara home. However, trademark issues and branding challenges reportedly led to a rebranding in February 2025, with the brand relaunched as As Ever.
As Ever released its first collection of products in April, this year, including crepe and shortbread mixes, teas (hibiscus, peppermint, and lemon ginger), and flower sprinkles.
Complementing her brand, Meghan launched a Netflix series titled “With Love, Meghan,” which debuted in March 2025. The show features Meghan sharing cooking and gardening tips with celebrity guests and was renewed for a second season despite mixed reviews.
